gsw_deltaSA_from_SP

Absolute Salinity anomaly

Contents

USAGE:

delta_SA = gsw_deltaSA_from_SP(SP,p,long,lat)

DESCRIPTION:

Calculates the Absolute Salinity anomaly.
TEOS-10

Absolute Salinity anomaly.

INPUT:

p     =  sea pressure                                           [ dbar ]
         ( i.e. absolute pressure - 10.1325 dbar )
long  =  longitude in decimal degrees                     [ 0 ... +360 ]
                                                    or [ -180 ... +180 ]
lat   =  latitude in decimal degrees north               [ -90 ... +90 ]
SA, p, long & lat need to have the same dimensions.

OUTPUT:

deltaSA  =  Absolute Salinity anomaly                          [ g/kg ]

EXAMPLE:

SP =   [34.7118; 34.8915; 35.0256; 34.8472; 34.7366; 34.7324;]
p =    [     10;      50;     125;     250;     600;    1000;]
lat =  [      4;       4;       4;       4;       4;       4;]
long = [    188;     188;     188;     188;     188;     188;]
deltaSA = gsw_deltaSA_from_SP(SP,p,long,lat)
